Arthur’s First Steps

Arthur slept through the night. He went to bed at 8pm and slept right through until 6.40am. He had a feed and then slept on until around 9.30am. The funny bit was that last night, he was put to bed by Daddy and he went to sleep without his night feed and even skipped his midnight feed. We will have to try that again. Bliss!

Arthur had his second First Birthday Party here in the Isle of Man. Again it was a Pooh Party. He had all his friends around to celebrate with:- Amirah, Ellie, Lisa, William, Luke, Sophia & Kristina.

Arthur also decided that Today was the day he was only going to walk everywhere. He really took to walking. It started with his deciding to walk somewhere but without a fixed destination, and he continued from there! He seems so proud of himself! Needless to say, we are all extremely proud.

In the evening, Mummy went to Havana with Ellie’s Mum & Amirah’s Mum. While there, the waitress came up and asked Mummy…

“Are you the Mummy of the gorgeous baby boy?”

As you can imagine, Mummy felt really proud but realised that she might have just remembered that we once popped in to Havana for Dinner and had a cute baby with us! Then, she continued…

“Arthur! That’s right isn’t it?”

Needless to say, Mummy was absolutely flabbergasted. She really remembered Arthur! Mummy felt like she could burst. But then again, who wouldn’t with such a cutie pie for a son!

It is Arthur’s Birthday Today, so we celebrated it by having a small Pooh Party for Arthur. It was held in Bugibba. Nearly everyone was there.

We also performed the “quccijja”. Arthur stood and thought about it and then decided on MONEY! He was startled when everyone started clapping that he dropped the money. However, given the chance, he went back for the Money!

Arthur ended up with 3 cakes! Lucky Arthur! His nanna made him a chocolate cake and an almond cake (thanks to his Daddy!) and Aunty Mikaela made Arthur a mickey mouse cake.

Arthur received so many presents. It was unbelievable. Thank you everyone.
