Sunday Outing
Sunday, May 27th, 2007Arthur was up by 8am and gurgling happily in his cot.
We had breakfast, then we went to church and thereafter for lunch at The Slug and Lettuce.
Sadly Arthur seemed a bit off form today. He did not eat as much as usual and seemed to have a bit of a runny nose too. Hmm!
Arthur has his photo taken again!
Saturday, May 26th, 2007Arthur had another professional photo taken today by Pixie Photos at Mothercare. But he hated every moment and cried and cried. We hardly managed any photos. It was a pity.
We bought some baguettes and ate the bread in the gardens on the prom. Arthur loved feeding the birds. Wish he ate a bit more though rather than give it all to the birds!

Friday, May 25th, 2007I was watching Arthur and Mummy play yesterday and I was impressed at how well Arthur knows his animals. Mummy put down a number of pictures of animals and told Arthur to “get her the dog”. He picked out the right picture every time! I love the way he is getting more and more intelligent every day. He’ll soon be telling us what to do!
Swimming in Peel
Thursday, May 24th, 2007Arthur and Mummy met up with Amirah and her Mummy for lunch in Douglas. We then drove to Peel for a swimming lesson as there was no class yesterday. Only when we got there, we found the class had been cancelled. Not that it really mattered. Arthur had a whale of a time. We used his new float jacket. It really gave him confidence mostly except when he lost control and flipped onto his back. He then spotted some armbands, swam to them and wore them. You should have seen his cheeky grin as he wore them. Honestly he swims so well.
In the evening, Mummy tried a new game with Arthur and showed Arthur pictures (flash cards) of animals and asked him to point out which animals they were. He got the all good. Even the new animals he had just learnt. You should have seen him clap every time he got it right. And that was every time!

Wednesday, May 23rd, 2007The swimming class was cancelled today due to some school swim event. So we went to the swings. Arthur made a new friend but she really kept following him around. He seems to be a magnet. 
Arthur’s First Haircut at the Barbers!
Tuesday, May 22nd, 2007This morning we went to playgroup and Arthur made a windmill. We met Daddy for lunch at KFC.
Arthur had his first haircut this afternoon at the Barbers. Mummy took him in as a baby and came out with a little boy!
New Teeth
Monday, May 21st, 2007Arthur’s bottom first molars are both out. Just managed to notice them today. They have just pierced the skin. It is so hard to get him to open his mouth. But there are definate signs of the teeth. He has 12 teeth now. 
1st Lollipop
Sunday, May 20th, 2007We went to Jak’s for Sunday Lunch. Arthur ate Mummy’s vegetables rather than his own food. He was then given a lollipop. He loved it and refused to part with it until he finished it. Even at the swings, the lollipop remained firmly in hand until it finished. Thankfully it was not long before it finished as Mummy was afraid of letting Arthur play on the swings with the lollipop.
Dragon’s Castle
Friday, May 18th, 2007We started by going to Dragon’s Castle and met Amirah and her Mummy there. Then we went shopping and Arthur even went for a couple of rides at Strand Centre. We also had lunch with Daddy.
On our way back home, we stopped at the little garden opposite Prospect Terrace. Arthur met George (the dog) again. Arthur rested in his big bed again. And to top it off Mummy managed to not give Arthur a breastfeed before bed.
