Arthur uses pants!
Friday, August 31st, 2007Arthur wore pants for the first time. They are a Peter Pan pair in light blue. He did really well in them. Though we had to put him back in his nappy for the night.

Arthur wears underpants!
Thursday, August 30th, 2007Today Arthur wore underpants for the first time. It was for a few hours in the evening to make up the time instead of putting on a new nappy and his night nappy. He has been excellent with his toilet training today, even if at lunch it meant our visiting the powder room 3 times!
We took Grandmama to her Optalmologist appointment at hospital. Afterwards we had a nice lunch at La Piazza and then went for a drive to Douglas head. We even went to see Grandma Gladys but Arthur was fast asleep when we were visiting so he did not see her.
Chinese!
Wednesday, August 29th, 2007We went with Grandmama & Grandpapa to our regular Chinese but they seemed full. So we went to the new place instead. Arthur was given 2 balloons which he burst (thankfully outside!) and he was then given another balloon! Arthur really seemed to enjoy eating Chinese.
Sydney
Tuesday, August 7th, 2007Arthur’s friend Sydney came to play with Arthur and even stayed for dinner. Arthur and Sydney had a wonderful wet time watering (and over watering) the plants!
Grandma Gladys
Monday, August 6th, 2007Grandma Gladys has been taken into a hospice while Arthur was resting. Mummy feels very guilty that she did not take Arthur to see Grandma Gladys before he napped. We will go and see her on Wednesday at the hospice.
Daddy time
Sunday, August 5th, 2007Daddy woke up a little unwell. As Mummy needed to go out, Daddy stayed at home with Arthur. I think they had a good time together. Meanwhile Mummy enjoyed her Valentine’s present and even managed some shopping which included a few new clothes for Arthur.
Knee!
Saturday, August 4th, 2007Arthur said the word “knee” today (while touching his knees).
We went to Cranford Nursery as they had an open day. Arthur just loved it. Mummy & Daddy liked the fact that there are 2 computers for the children to use. But Arthur enjoyed it so much, he did not care one way or the other if Mummy & Daddy were there at all!
Walk with Daddy!
Thursday, August 2nd, 2007We were asked to look after Granny Gladys again today. At the last minute we were told that a social worker will be coming over so her son Peter will be there and when the social worker leaves, he will call us. He wanted to meet us. However by 4.30pm he still did not call, so we went over anyway to say hello to Grandma Gladys. We feel sorry for her.
It did ruin our day but Daddy made it up when he took us for a walk and showed us his office where he worked. We saw his desk for the first time. The office was also all Disney decorated for an office birthday the next day. It was nice being there.
Giggle Giggle
Wednesday, August 1st, 2007Arthur’s latest word is “Giggle Giggle” which is his way of saying “tickle tickle”. It works well, because when he is tickled he does giggle!
We were going to go to the fish farm with Amirah and her Mummy, but we were asked to stay a while with Gladys. As the time came for us to stay with Grandma Gladys, we were told it was not necessary. It spoilt our day but somethings things cannot be helped. We are hoping that she will get well soon.
