Swimming & Food!

We picked up Amirah and her Mummy and went swimming. It felt a bit odd as Arthur and Amirah were the oldest and the rest were not even a year old. But none the less Arthur & Amirah had a wonderful time.

We then went to McDonalds for a lunch treat. Arthur & Amirah enjoyed their chicken nuggets, chips and fruit!

And for supper we (Grandmama, Grandpapa, Mummy, Daddy & Arthur) went to a new Chinese restaurant in Ramsay. Arthur ate so much that everyone was surprised! He was such a good boy too!

First Steps

Arthur was really happy to be back at first steps. He enjoyed playing and even tried to do the crafts. It is nice to have our routine back.

More Vocabulary

Arthur’s vocabulary is proceeding so quickly, that we simply cannot keep up. Not only has he learnt new words but he has also begun to chain up words. New words include ( I may also include previous words ) :-

He can also say the sounds many animals make such as cow, sheep, duck, cat, dog, etc.
He can also recognise most parts of the body including eyebrows, forehead, thumbs, toes, fingers, knee, chin, cheeks, leg, foot, lip, mouth, teeth, tongue, nail etc

Ellie’s Party

Arthur had Ellie’s Party today. It was at Dragon’s Castle between 3 and 4.30pm. He was the only boy there. It was quite amazing seeing Arthur climb around and play. He has just grown so much. Nothing fazed him. He even climbed through holes which were as high as his armpits yet he still managed to pull himself up! There were sandwiches after and he even ate a little of his sandwiches but not much. He prefered his fudge stick!

Arthur’s Birthday Party

Arthur had his Birthday Party today. It was held at the Bible Baptist Church in Broadway between 3 and 5pm. He had lots of friends come over. Even Philip came to his party. He really seemed to have fun. He especially enjoyed the bubbles that blew just before he cut his cake! Arthur even had non alcoholic “champagne” with his cake too!

And Arthur received so many presents. He had a wonderful time opening them all up.

Arthur goes to the Fun Barn

Arthur was taken to the Fun Barn as a Birthday treat. He met a friend Philip from first steps and they loved playing together. We even asked Philip to come to Arthur’s Birthday party tomorrow!

Then we all went out to eat Chinese at the Empress Hotel. Arthur really seems to enjoy Chinese food.

Grandmama & Grandpapa

Grandmama & Grandpapa came to visit. They wanted to be here for Arthur’s Birthday. Mummy & Arthur picked them up from the airport. We are sure they are happy to see Arthur again.

Mummy bakes Arthur a cake!

Mummy baked Arthur a Birthday cake. It was Arthur’s favourite - Chocolate! It was also made in the shape of one of the number jacks. Number Jack 2 of course!

Arthur was very impressed with his cake!

Arthur’s Last Infant Travel

This is the last time that Arthur will be travelling as an infant. I cannot believe how fast he is growing.

This morning after meeting Grandmama and Grandpapa at Heathrow airport, we went back to our house in Staines, swapped luggage and headed off to Gatwick airport. Mummy & Arthur flew back home to the Isle of Man to meet Daddy. Arthur was so happy to see Daddy and I am sure the feeling was mutual.
