Arthur had a really restless night. He was running a temperature and despite having Calpol, he still barely rested all night. By 7.30 he was up and about. It looks like it will be a Calpol day!!
Grandmama came with Mummy & Arthur to Euston. Mummy & Arthur headed home to Daddy. First we caught a Bus to Hatton Cross, then the underground to Euston, then a train to Liverpool and finally the Boat to the Isle of Man.
Mummy again forgot to take a photo of Arthur on the boat. Mummy is really sorry!
Arthur was such a little Angel today. Mummy was running all over the house trying to sort out things and Arthur was a little Angel. Mummy felt very guilty for leaving Arthur on his own so much. He was so good. Mummy is going to make it up to Arthur this weekend.
So, Mummy called Arthur, “My little Angel“, to which Arthur objected saying, “No, not little angel… I big boy!“
Can you believe that Arthur climbed into his travel cot all on his own. It always amazes Mummy how much he is able to do. Guess someone was tired then!
Arthur was invited to a small 1st Birthday party today. It was just upstairs in Staines, but it was a sweet little party. Arthur got to eat lots of Chocolate Cake which seemed to make his day.
Arthur also painted a card for her.
Mummy caught Arthur playing with water in the basin, so she asked Arthur, “What are you doing?“. To which Arthur replied, “I am watering my hands!“.
Arthur stated that it was “Time O’clock!”. Mummy did try to find out what he wanted to do but then Arthur specified that it was “11 O’clock!”. The question is did Mummy miss something? Arthur then asked for Aunty Dodo’s computer… and well Mummy lent it to him!! Hope this is ok Aunty Dodo!
This morning Daddy, Mummy & Arthur headed to the Buchan Nursery to find out more about the school and see if they would take Arthur on at Preschool level or not. We will get an answer in due course.
Then Daddy took Mummy & Arthur to the sea terminal in Douglas. Mummy & Arthur then caught the boat to Liverpool. Shamefully Mummy forgot to take a photo of Arthur on the boat. What a naughty Mummy she is! Sadly the boat was slightly late, and the there was traffic on the way from the seaport to the train station, so Mummy & Arthur missed their train. To make matters worse, the next train was cancelled. This mean a nearly 2 hour wait. So Mummy offer Arthur something to eat. Burgers. No. Nuggets. No. Sandwich. No. Mummy was perplexed. Then Mummy offered Arthur Chinese…. Yes! So Mummy & Arthur ate chinese before getting their train.
Mummy & Arthur were lucky because they sat in a first class cabin designated for standard class. Arthur enjoyed the lights. A man also gave Arthur a souvenir of a Russian Coin - 1 rupple.
Grandmama & Grandpapa met Arthur & Mummy in Watford Station. Arthur fell asleep before arriving in Staines.
Arthur has been frequently going on Mummy’s laptop and well Mummy & Daddy decided to give him his own. Arthur’s laptop has been updated with links to kids games which Mummy & Daddy let him play.
Sneakily Mummy & Daddy have ensured that all his games are educational. After all there is nothing better than learning through play. Mummy & Daddy do worry about what games Arthur plays. This will be even more so as Arthur gets older. Mummy & Daddy believe that both PC and mac games should have a
global warning whenever there is violence or swearing. After all Mummy & Daddy do not have the time to test each game Arthur will ever play (not that Daddy would mind awfully)!
The best bit of it all is, he calls it his “pewter”!
Arthur helped Mummy bake a cake. The cake turned out lovely, but unfortunately Arthur “no like it!”.
Mummy also made Pizza, and to Mummy’s dismay, Arthur said, “I don’t like Mummy’s Pizza!”. Hmmm. Not a successful cooking day!!
