Aunty Jo had to leave today. Arthur was very sad.

Christmas

Thursday, December 25th, 2008

Arthur was every so disappointed this morning because “Santa didn’t come!”. So Mummy took Arthur back to his bedroom to check and found his stocking was overflowing. He must have stepped over the present that could not fit in the stocking and had fallen on the floor! He was so excited when he realised he had lots of presents from Santa.

When Arthur went downstairs he found that Santa ate the mince pie and drank the Sherry but the reindeer did not eat all the carrot and a small piece was still left. Arthur was worried for the reindeer. Then he saw a huge present and was ever so excited. It was a marble game – rollercoaster! I think that’s a new word!

He received so many presents, he actually was tired of opening them.

We celebrated Christmas together eating and opening presents. It was so nice to see Arthur so excited about it all.

Merry Christmas

Thursday, December 25th, 2008

Arthur wishes everyone a Merry Christmas. Arthur was sad there was no little church at Midnight mass.

He cannot wait for Santa to come tonight and he left Santa a mince pie, a glass of Sherry and a carrot for the reindeer!

Santa Time

Saturday, December 20th, 2008

We all met at the farmer’s Christmas Market which was really small. However that was just the begining of the day because today Arthur went to see Santa at the Home of Rest for Old Horses. Santa gave Arthur a present for Christmas and Arthur told Santa that he wanted Drums for Christmas. We then had tea and Christmas log. Arthur even had a second helping of Christmas log!!

We then went Christmas shopping for presents in town. Yeah!

Busy Day

Friday, December 12th, 2008

Arthur had such a busy day today. It started as you know with Amirah sleeping over. Then off to school (while Amirah went to visit her Mummy). From school it was straight to the Mums & Tots in Onchan where they had a Christmas Party. It was dress up… and unlike what you would expect there were no nurses and doctors in lab coats but fairies, mini santas, shepperds and Arthur was an elf! Santa even popped round for a visit. From there a quick stop home and straight to Ballet.

For a treat Mummy, Daddy & Arthur had a KFC picnic at home. We laid down a picnic blanket in the sitting room and had a wonderful winter picnic.
