Daddy took Arthur to school. Mummy collected him and we went straight to the Friday Mums & Tots in Onchan. Mummy took lots of photos. We did not meet Daddy for lunch at the Velvet Lobster!
At half past two we met Daddy and went for a meeting at the Department of Education with Jane Adamson. She said that Mummy & Daddy should not label Arthur as “gifted” and that it is more important for Arthur to mix with other children his physical age rather than his mental age! She gave Mummy some print outs to read and basically said that under no circumstance would they forward a child a year in education.
Arthur behaved like a perfect gentleman during the whole meeting.
Mummy took Arthur for his first Dance Lesson. He had a wonderful time.
Amirah also came to stay the night!

Mummy collected from Amirah’s house in the morning. From there Mummy & Arthur went to Church. Arthur went to little Church all on his own. He keeps growing so fast. One minute Arthur is wearing baby clothes and the next Arthur is doing things all on his own!
After church Daddy took Mummy & Arthur to eat at King Edward’s Golf Club in Onchan. And best of all, we all went to fly a kite at Douglas Head! Arthur did not want to go home!

Arthur started school at the Montessori today. Mummy & Daddy walked Arthur to school for 8.45am. He seemed to have a really good day. Apparently he did “Puzzles”.
Mummy then took Arthur into town to buy Arthur some new slippers. Mummy bought Arthur a pair of Roary Slippers that light up and a pair of Spider Man Trainers that also light up!
Mummy & Arthur went with Grandpapa for dinner at Alessandro’s. Arthur wanted to go to KFC but then was happy to go to Alessandro’s as long as he could eat Pasta. He did not want Pizza!

This morning Arthur attended Little Church for the first time. It seemed to go well. Both Mummy & Daddy stayed with him in little school. Maybe next time he may go alone!! He is growing up so fast!
We went to the Hilton for lunch again.

Arthur started his Preschool Swimming Class. He was the youngest. Amirah was also in the class. The rest of the children are all preschoolers. 2 of them even cried most of the time. Grandpapa was there to watch too.
We are so proud of him!
After swimming we went to KFC for a late lunch / early dinner. Arthur ate a medium box of popcorn chicken, fries and a couple of corn. He then even ate an ice-cream.
After that we went to feed the birds. There were Pigeons, Black Birds and Sea Gulls. Arthur can recognise and say all the 3 types of birds names.

Arthur laid the table all on his own. He put down the place mats. He took the cutlery from the drawer and laid them on the table (albeit on the wrong side). Put the drinks on the table. And even added the napkins. Mummy & Daddy are so proud of him!

Can you believe that Arthur climbed into his travel cot all on his own. It always amazes Mummy how much he is able to do. Guess someone was tired then!

Arthur has been frequently going on Mummy’s laptop and well Mummy & Daddy decided to give him his own. Arthur’s laptop has been updated with links to kids games which Mummy & Daddy let him play.
Sneakily Mummy & Daddy have ensured that all his games are educational. After all there is nothing better than learning through play. Mummy & Daddy do worry about what games Arthur plays. This will be even more so as Arthur gets older. Mummy & Daddy believe that both PC and mac games should have a
global warning whenever there is violence or swearing. After all Mummy & Daddy do not have the time to test each game Arthur will ever play (not that Daddy would mind awfully)!
The best bit of it all is, he calls it his “pewter”!

This morning Arthur received a package from DHL. Arthur instantly knew it was his and wanted to open it. It was a scooter. Arthur was overjoyed by it. It even lights up. It was from Grandmama. Arthur immediately wanted to call up Grandmama to say Thank You for his scooter.
(The hall is already tired of the scooter!!)
