Arthur’s First Steps

Amirah joined Arthur & Mummy at Church and Little Church. Then, Arthur & Mummy took Amirah and her Mummy to lunch at Colours. We then went to a carboot sale in Castletown and to the playground. It was a lovely warm day.

Daddy stayed at home doing all sorts of DIY in the house.

We all met at the farmer’s Christmas Market which was really small. However that was just the begining of the day because today Arthur went to see Santa at the Home of Rest for Old Horses. Santa gave Arthur a present for Christmas and Arthur told Santa that he wanted Drums for Christmas. We then had tea and Christmas log. Arthur even had a second helping of Christmas log!!

We then went Christmas shopping for presents in town. Yeah!

Mummy made a silly mistake because she forgot the time change. So we headed to church twice. After church we went to lunch at the Hilton. After lunch Arthur had a ghostly treat on a scary halloween train ride. Arthur went dressed as a Wizard!

We went to Gallaria Shopping Centre today. It was quite an experience. Arthur was the recipient of many a gift! In the evening we went to Grabiel for dinner.

It was a lovely day, so we hit the beach at St Thomas Bay. Aunty Jo came with us. Even Uncle Roderick & Lisa joined us for a while. Mummy had to swim after Arthur’s ball when it floated away really quickly.

We went to eat Chinese with Grandmama, Grandpapa & Aunty Jo. Uncle Roderick & Karl came too!

We also had donuts later too!

We tried to go swimming today but the water was very cold. So we lasted just a short while. Arthur was getting a bit blue!

We went for a Fenkata for dinner with Grandmama, Grandpapa and Aunty Jo at Charlie’s inn.

Arthur went to see his Nanna & Nannu. He met his cousin Samuel for the first time too. He was wearing really cool baby clothes.

When Nannu was driving us back to Grandmama’s & Grandpapa’s Arthur claimed he wanted to go to the place of Sand & Slides. So we detoured and took him back to Playmobil. He obviously enjoyed himself. We were nearly locked in as the did not realise that we were still inside.

We went to Grabiel’s for dinner and Aunty Jo took Arthur to the swings while we were there!!

Mummy & Arthur took Amirah to gymnastics. Arthur was sad that he could not join in. We hope that he gets to start soon. After the gym, Mummy & Daddy took Amirah & Arthur to McDonalds. They really enjoyed it! Amirah then went to her Aunty Angela. Arthur then came home and kept offering Mummy PC Support! It is a good thing that Arthur has his own laptop or Mummy would have to do without. Hmmm

Well, autumn seems to be setting in, but we managed to get some outdoor time last weekend as we had some summer sun to end the season with. We went for a picnic on Saturday and had a great time at Tynwald National Park. We fed the ducks, played with Arthur’s ball, climbed a hill, rolled down and did all the stuff a two-year old loves doing. It’s great that we can have fun with anything.

On Sunday we went to Douglas Head and tried our hand at kite flying. Arthur seemed to grasp the idea pretty quickly and had a whale of a time flying his kite. Well, we all had a great time flying the kite (and climbing up trees to fetch it when it got stuck).

Hope we have some more sunny weekends!

Arthur started school at the Montessori today. Mummy & Daddy walked Arthur to school for 8.45am. He seemed to have a really good day. Apparently he did “Puzzles”.

Mummy then took Arthur into town to buy Arthur some new slippers. Mummy bought Arthur a pair of Roary Slippers that light up and a pair of Spider Man Trainers that also light up!

Mummy & Arthur went with Grandpapa for dinner at Alessandro’s. Arthur wanted to go to KFC but then was happy to go to Alessandro’s as long as he could eat Pasta. He did not want Pizza!
